Catherine and Robby’s wedding day started in style with a picnic near Catherine’s childhood home. As if the rehearsal wasn’t enough fun, hundreds gathered for a relaxed afternoon (under a few ominous clouds) to get into the wedding spirit. It was a perfect example of midwest hospitality.

The highlight of the afternoon was the rocket! Blasting off every ten minutes and taking a tour of Shaker Heights! You should have seen the looks on the faces of people in the neighborhood. Although, one guy was pulling weeds in his front yard and didn’t even bother to look up!

Arielle and Catherine didn’t stop laughing the whole weekend…

And Catherine’s dad got a few laughs when he took the family cat out for a walk…

But the clock was ticking and it was time for the bride to make her way to the Kirtland Country Club, in WIlloughby.

A touching moment for the new in-laws…

The grand staircase at the Club. None of the guests saw this moment with Catherine and her dad because they were anxiously awaiting her arrival in the most spectacular tent out back.

The elegant (air conditioned!) tent…

One last hug for dad…

Married at last!

A handful of Catherine’s bridesmaids and friends… there were PLENTY more!

Then the tent was transformed into a rockin’ reception venue… with Catherine and Sarah doing a Neil Diamond number.

A charming toast for the couple from Catherine’s dad…

Everyone was surprised to get their own Tiffany cake for dessert. Sweet! Pat Hoose (the pastry chef) really outdid herself. Imagine making over 300 of these cakes!

The happy couple…

Thanks for an absolutely terrific wedding weekend. Can’t wait to see you back in NYC!!!
