A nice way to spend Mother’s Day

I had a blast with Karen and Mike’s kids last Sunday. The kids were ready to go bright and early. I love how sweet Theo looks holding Karen’s hand.

I love this one of Theo. He looks like a little peanut, even though he’s a big boy! I always get down low when I photograph kids, but I also like to shoot from a higher angle because this is how parents see their kids.

Theo was practically addicted to Cheerios during the session. We managed to get them out of his hands for a few pictures, but I wanted to get a few photos of him with his special Cheerios cup. In this photo, he’s obviously thinking, “Stay away from my Cheerios!!”

Then it was time for a little baseball. Despite Mike’s 90-mile-an-hour fast ball, Jack still knocked a few out of the park.

These are some of my favorites of Jack.

Jack was a Wii baseball champion! Maybe it was from all that practice in the backyard with his dad.

And even Theo got in on the act.

And a big hug for mom on Mother’s Day!

Thanks for asking me to photograph your family Karen and Mike. And thank you Carla for referring Karen to me.
