Father’s Day Surprise #2

So, while I was in Cleveland for Catherine & Robby’s wedding, I got a call from Tricia asking if I could come by to photograph her kids for a surprise Father’s Day present. I had never been to Tuxedo Park, NY before and all I can say is, “Wow.” So beautiful!

And speaking of beautiful, look at this face. Don’t you love the bubble?

And what’s a photo session without some jumping on the bed???

The famous Matt Richman Photography Running Shot…

How much does this boy love his Mom?

Thanks for letting me be a part of your Father’s Day!

Father’s Day Surprise #1

I hope everyone had a terrific Father’s Day! This year, I was contacted by two clever moms who wanted photos of their kids as surprise Father’s Day presents.

I started in Ridgewood back in the middle of May with this oh-so-cute brother and sister…

There’s nothing like snuggling with your favorite pink dog.

This was a special request from Maggie. I love those subtle colors surrounded by the bright white window. Great idea Maggie!

And then we broke for storytime…

Next door, someone was getting sleepy…

Crib time!

Thanks for a great morning Maggie! I wonder what you’ll get next Mother’s Day? :)

The BIG Ohio Wedding!

Catherine and Robby’s wedding day started in style with a picnic near Catherine’s childhood home. As if the rehearsal wasn’t enough fun, hundreds gathered for a relaxed afternoon (under a few ominous clouds) to get into the wedding spirit. It was a perfect example of midwest hospitality.

The highlight of the afternoon was the rocket! Blasting off every ten minutes and taking a tour of Shaker Heights! You should have seen the looks on the faces of people in the neighborhood. Although, one guy was pulling weeds in his front yard and didn’t even bother to look up!

Arielle and Catherine didn’t stop laughing the whole weekend…

And Catherine’s dad got a few laughs when he took the family cat out for a walk…

But the clock was ticking and it was time for the bride to make her way to the Kirtland Country Club, in WIlloughby.

A touching moment for the new in-laws…

The grand staircase at the Club. None of the guests saw this moment with Catherine and her dad because they were anxiously awaiting her arrival in the most spectacular tent out back.

The elegant (air conditioned!) tent…

One last hug for dad…

Married at last!

A handful of Catherine’s bridesmaids and friends… there were PLENTY more!

Then the tent was transformed into a rockin’ reception venue… with Catherine and Sarah doing a Neil Diamond number.

A charming toast for the couple from Catherine’s dad…

Everyone was surprised to get their own Tiffany cake for dessert. Sweet! Pat Hoose (the pastry chef) really outdid herself. Imagine making over 300 of these cakes!

The happy couple…

Thanks for an absolutely terrific wedding weekend. Can’t wait to see you back in NYC!!!

Catherine & Robby’s Rehearsal Dinner

The wedding weekend has begun! The rehearsal dinner was held at the Hunt Club in Gates Mills, OH. Close to 200 people from far and wide came to wish them well. There was so much warmth in the room… and I’m not talking about the weather!

The Hunt Club

Lots of love in the room!

Everyone wore name tags. Here’s Robby’s…

Robby welcomed everyone and the dinner was in full swing.

Robby’s dad (no resemblance!)

And now onto the big event!
